i discovered a fun new game: freak out the humans. late last night they left the back door ajar and i went and hid down in the basement. when they noticed i was missing today they got all freaked out and ran around inside and out singing the food song. they even came down to the basement, but i hid myself good. eventually i got hungry and came back up and wore my best smirk. teach them to play their games on me... i am the master!

i just saw a bird up close in the same room as me for the first time. her name was skye. i was supposed to scare her so she won't lay anymore eggs, but i don't think she was too scarerd of me. i got lots of yummy treats anyway. i miss madeleinecat, i bet she would have done a better job.

i've never understood the human obsession with new years. it's just a day. nothing big happens except for some noise. christmas and thanksgiving, i can understand. there's tuna on christmas and thanksgiving. but i'll never figure out new years.

i'm starting to get used to the new cats. i still don't like jello and spider, but i'm not afraid of them anymore. i just whack at them if they get to close. i don't like them sniffing my butt or in my personal space. jello is especially a nuisance.

maybe i'd stop shitting in the bathroom so much if you'd clean the litter more often.

i'm not that big. i'm tiny and i'm starving. i don't need a diet. the wet food i'm getting now is good. but, i don't need a diet. i need more of the yummy wet food.

and i've decided i like my mats. leave them be.

i hate my hard chunk food. i used to get good hard chuck food, but lately i've gotten this tasteless poo. i'd rather use it for litter than eat it. and what's up with the litter now? it smells weird and is extra clingy. i can't get the stupid stuff off me. things have got to change around here.

good news: the fruit flies have come back. the humans thought they had gotten rid of them. haha. all mine to chase. all mine to chase.

bad news: madeleine left again today. i hope she comes back again soon. she's been my friend and role model ever since i was a little kitten. she taught me everything i know about breaking things, well timed bodily functions, sitting just right, ruff maintenance, and getting around silly human's rules.

my old friend madeleine has come over for thanksgiving. first she was grumpy and hissed a lot. that's because she doesn't like riding in cars. now she is happy and we are hanging out a lot.

really good news: we have fruitflies!! they're a little small, but they're fun to chase around the house. the humans want to get rid of them. they don't like fun chasey things in the house. humans like things boring most of the time. i'm having fun with the flies anyway. they can't get away from me.

hello. my human got me this livejournal. today i sat around the house a lot. didn't get into any trouble... that she knows of yet. hehe. the house is nice and warm, but not enough smells get in through the windows. i preferred the windows at the other place, where smells came through. there aren't as many birds and squirrels out the windows either. the windows here pretty much suck.

i do like the stairs here. at first they looked scary, but now i run up and down them. it's fun. sometimes my person runs the featherstick along the legs of the railing and i come running. that's how i know she wants to play. you have to play your humans when they want, or they get all sad and mopey. humans need lots of attention, keeping one around can be a pain sometimes.
